Welcome to the new home of the Navy League, Santa Barbara Council. We are both proud and excited to launch this website in the hopes that it will help us to accomplish our two greatest missions: supporting each of our 12 adopted units, which span all five branches of our armed forces, and educating the general public on the unique mission of each of these units.

Since 1956, when our charter was first initiated, the Navy League of Santa Barbara has seen thousands of volunteers conduct tens of thousands of volunteer hours in the service of those who serve us—often with neither recognition nor fanfare. Our members and volunteers are proud to have this chance to give back, and we look forward to continuing this mission for years to come.

On this site, you will have the opportunity to learn about each of our adopted units, read our quarterly newsletters, follow our press, and see when and where you can participate in events that will bring you closer to our wonderful men and women in uniform.

Whether joining our ranks as a member, finding an opportunity to volunteer, or following each unit through their unique web page, we hope that you will use this resource to increase your knowledge of our mission, our adopted units, and our generous partners in this community.

As we say here at the Navy League, Santa Barbara Council,

“Above all, Support and Serve”

Kevin McTague
President, SBNL
